 1- CONDITIONS

1a The aim of subsistence farming apply.

1b Any initiative must be of collective or communal interest.

1c There must be individual support by the recipients to the WCH

1d The recipients must be organised in an Association with clear democratic status.

1e Recipients to have been paying members of the WCH for at least two years.

2- COMPOSITION OF THE DOCUMENT

2a A request for finance on two sides of a sheet giving the precise and complete identification of the applicant, its trade name, postal address and a short description of the project : its nature, geographical location, total cost, total estimate of the finance being asked for.

2b A description of the project (as detailed as possible) :

• The geographical, ecological, economical, social and cultural condition of the area where the project will be,
• A precise description of the project,
• Statement of the anticipate improvements after the setting of the project,
• The environmental consequences,
• Estimated budget for 3 years..

2c Detailed estimate of the total cost.

2d Detailed estimate of the requested finance with :

• Own contribution by the applicant,
• Total requested from WCH,
• Other contributions (Specify names/addresses).

2e Proposed financing method giving the :

• anticipated proportions between the share of the grant and the share of the interest-free loan.
• expected pay-back time-table.
• name and address of the bank account which will receive the money.
• anticipate time-table for the loan repaymet. 

2f List of the relevant members of the WCH specifying :

• their names, fornames and addresses.
• the amount of individual payments,
• the method of payment (to agree with the Treasurer)

or the local correspondent with whom you deal.

4- SOLIDARITY CONTRACT

The investigation and the follow-up to the document are entrusted to a qualified administrator who will be in contact with the applicants. He can ask for any other enquiries to be made and suggest any useful amendments. The board of Directors of the WCH will give a decision.

a- at the beginning of the investigation : on the admissibility of the project.

b- at the end of the investigation : on the financing of the project.

If the project is judged financiable , it ranks on the waiting file. About three months before the supposed date of financing, a Solidarity Contract is written by the administrator in charge and submitted to the signing of both sides.

• a- The applicant, who will be a paying member of the WCH and commissioned in due form by his group,
• b- According to the circumstances, the person in charge of the helping NGO or any organization taking part in the project,
• c- The Secretary General of the WCH.

Upon signing the Solidarity Contract finance will be made available.
