The PEOPLE'S CONGRESS is a step towards the creation of a World Assembly able to establish and control the World Institutions essential to the survival of humanity and the preservation of the biosphere. In conformity with the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the People's Congress is constituted: an Assembly, known as the "World citizens Assembly", an organ of participatory democracy in matters of global concern. a body of Delegates elected by an electorate in 114 countries by transnational elections. The term of office is 9 years The elected Delegates are renewed by thirds every three years.
