Historical Background

The African Child Agape Foundation is a charitable, peaceful, non-political, educational and non-profit making oriented organisation initiated by Rev. Innocent Hankanimana in December 2017. After reflecting on how the civil wars, political unrest tear and many more uncertainties down the country's economy, take away the lives of innocent people and leave the citizens in extreme poverty, especially women and children, the founder, moved by the spirit of compassion towards humanity; conscious of the challenges facing the african child and women because of lack of peace due to conflict, injustice, human rights abuse and poverty in society, Desirous to empower and increase the youth and women economic opportunity to better fight poverty in our community Conscious that our society is heading towards globalisation and convinced that we ara all brothers and sisters from one God; Determined to advocate for peace and development in our communities for the betterment of our generation to come; the founder helped by his friends(Malawians and Refugees) initiated this Foudation to respond to the cries of millions of poor people and to plead for the cause of peace and development in Africa and the world.
