When women are lifted up, everyone benefits. Statistics shows women are more likely to reinvest their income back into their families and their communities than men. Increasing economic opportunities for female enterprenuers in low income will have positive impact on reducing poverty. ACAF is willing to empower women so as to participate fully in global economy. This also should be done for the youth.
1. In line with the Leadership program, the program will be sustained by the empowerment programs.
2. We will teach and train women on proper financial literacy on how to build and manage businesses.
3. Develop Human capital through Trade and skills acquisition programs from which products will be produced from raw materials purchased and sold to generate funds for the sustainability of the program.
4. Select ambitious, intelligent, inventive and motivated woman and Youths from each country and take them to different countries where the program is running for some months to learn from fellow women and youths of that country on some trades ideas, skills and nutritive inventions.
5. They will learn how to make nutritive meals from those nations, juices and many other naturally selected aliment that promote good health and come back to their countries of origin to make and sell those things.
6. To facilitate this inter-cultural relationship, ACAF will offer language training programs that will enable women and men from the 4 countries (Malawi, DRC, Burundi and Ruwanda) to learn of international languages like English, French, Swahili, and Spanish etc…
7. ACAF will help women and Youths to form cooperatives and later on finance and help them build independent business companies.
8. Refugees: At ACAF, We feel connected to those individuals worldwide who are struggling due to lack of peace in their countries and become refugees or displaced people because of wars, natural disasters such as flood, drought which leads to extreme poverty. We believe that apart from humanitarian aids given to those people, ACAF requests from the governments who host those people to give them chance and opportunities like other citizens so that they can contribute to development of the society. ACAF is determined to uplift the life standard of all community members. No one should be left behind!!!
One great philosopher and Master teacher once taught; “if you give a man fish to eat, you will feed him but for a day, but if you teach a man HOW to fish, you will feed him and his entire family for days and generations to come…” It is upon this philosophy that we, at ACAF, base our entire research and project on finding the CURE or REMEDY to eradicate poverty in the African continent by the year 2030!
